Choosing your Grandma Name is Serious Business

Comments 36

  1. All of my mother's grandchildren call my mother Mimi, it's been going on for years😊😂❤😍😘

  2. I actually call my grandma 'meme', pronounced like 'mimi'. Since I'm the youngest grandchild (oldest 30), she picked it when memes didnt exist.

  3. Grandma: Here's your sweet tea hun. Gives tea

Me: Being silly Thanks, memaw. (Silly way of mammaw)

Grandma: DON'T CALL ME THAT. 😡

    Me: Okay grandma… 😨

    Grandma: Thank you dear. 😊

  4. Mine are Nee (pronounced like the end of the name Renee, which is her real name) , nana, and my sisters dads parents are called gomi and grandpa.

  5. We call my Grandma “MawMaw” and we called my great Grandmaw “Nan Nan” cause when my dad was little, that’s how he pronounced Maw maw😂😂

  6. Mine were about as southern as they get, on my dads side it was Mamaw and Papaw and on my moms side it was Memaw and Popi, it got very confusing

  7. I called my grandmothers ‘Ma’, because I couldn’t say grandma, and ‘Mamaw’, because she had all her grandkids call her that.

  8. i have three grand moms ( step grand mother) one was Mamaw, Nana and then Grandmama. thank you for putting this video up. it was a good chuckle and now off to shoe my grand mothers this.

  9. I have a nana because I can barely pronounce simple words correctly without stutterin. My freind thinks my stutters 'Adorable.' I think it's annoyin

  10. Bette and Poppy on my mom's side, Grandpa on my dad's (my paternal grandmother was named Pat and she died when my dad was 14)
