The Future is Easy, Naming Things is Hard

The future is easy, naming things is difficult – Derek Collison, Apcera

Cloud Foundry student Derek Collison takes the community back in time to reflect on the humble beginnings of the B29 project and the thriving ecosystem created by Cloud Foundry. Derek is moving rapidly towards the present, where technologies tend to three main categories: provisioning of infrastructure, artifact to workload and orchestration of workload. Together, these technologies will create a hardware-independent hardware native to the cloud for enterprise applications at scale and future proof.
